 Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, commonly known as Neymar, is a professional football player from Brazil who is considered one of the best players in the world. He was born on February 5, 1992, in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, Brazil.

Neymar grew up playing football in the streets of his hometown, and he quickly showed immense talent. He joined the youth academy of Santos FC, one of Brazil's most successful clubs, at the age of 11. Neymar made his professional debut for Santos in 2009 and quickly established himself as one of the team's most important players.

In 2010, Neymar helped Santos win the Copa do Brasil, and he was named the competition's best player.
